About

No matter where I go I find people who teach me things and show me new perspectives that I could never have found on my own.

Just an Indiana boy trying to have a good time.

I grew up in the Midwest in a fairly standard American upbringing. From an early age I was drawn to music and the arts, picking up the guitar at the age of 12 and playing a card soldier in Wonderland around the same time and those early experiences still drive me forward as I create music, theatre, and various other kinds of art with the time and materials that I can get my hands on. In high school I continued to be a part of theater productions with several different groups which gave me experience in the ‘real world’ at a young age, as ‘real’ as a theater gets I suppose. Some friends and I started a pop-punk band that got a nice little following before life took us different places but those days sneaking our girlfriends into smokey bars will forever be a part of my character. After graduating high school I spent a year studying theatre before dropping out of college to get a cosmetology degree. Few things have broken me down in life like going through cosmetology school. In the years since then I have been ‘living life’ as I like to tell people, traveling when the time and money allows me to, studying yoga in a teacher training program, and playing as much music as possible.

You can check out my music on Bandcamp, Spotify and the other music streaming platforms. Peruse this website to get an eyeful of my photographic projects. Several of my written works can be read in these pages as well, if that’s what you’re into.

I generally enjoy filling my time with organic gardening, bicycle riding, creating spirographs, drawing sacred geometry, playing folk and bluegrass music, practicing yoga, performing theatre, baking delicious cinnamon rolls, and listening to the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
